Endometriosis Awareness πŸ’›πŸŒ»πŸ

March marks the month of Endometriosis awareness!

Created by Rachel Spooner - Let your sparkle shine ✨

πŸ’› Endometriosis can be excruciating! I have this myself and it is so painful with many days off work, bedridden and struggle to do daily life activities.

πŸ’› Did you know on average, it takes 7-10 years to diagnose and can only be diagnosed via surgery at this time! It won’t show on scans so don’t rule this out if your ultrasound came back clean.

πŸ’› You should mention Endometriosis to your doctor if you think you might have this, especially if you’re having irregular periods and extreme tummy pain. For years my doctor told me my 1 year long period, painful stomach, was normal?! Don’t let them dismiss your pain and problems.

πŸ’› Doctors treat Endometriosis with hormone therapy and surgery to remove the Endometriosis, which doesn’t really cure the disease. Share this post to social media to spread awareness of Endometriosis and to help bring more talk about the condition, so that we can eventually get a proper cure!

I hope you have a lovely weekend,

All the best,
