💚 Mental Health Awareness Month 💚

May is mental health awareness month!
How do I know if I’m suffering from mental health disorders?

Mental health includes our physical, emotional and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel and act. It also impacts how we handle stress in different situations, relate to other people and make decisions.

Mental health is very important to a full well-being state. Mental health problems come in many forms and symptoms can range from mild and gradual, from a build up of your environment, (the life conditions that perpetuate around you over a long period) to acute and very severe, (perhaps due to some kind of sudden trauma or a short period of extreme stress). A short period in medical terms could mean a few hours to a few weeks.

It’s as if your brain is talking to you, telling you you’re not worth it, you’re hopeless and that no one loves you. This may be how you are feeling, but it is not the truth. People do love you, you are worth it and you can beat this. You deserve a happy fulfilled life just as much as anyone and the world is a better place with you in it. Please don't give up on yourself. Don't let poor mental health ruin your life. Your new life starts now, don't postpone it another day. You have the strength to turn your life around.
